Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2, 2026
The ground rules for using PixelCrop: a free, browser-based tool provided as-is, with your rights and ours clearly laid out.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PixelCrop (the "site"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to every visitor and to all use of the tools the site provides.
The service
PixelCrop is a free, browser-based tool for cropping images. It is provided as-is and as-available, without any commitment to availability, accuracy or future features. The site is a personal, non-commercial project: there are no paid plans, no subscriptions and no paid services of any kind.
Acceptable use
You agree to use PixelCrop only for lawful purposes and only with images you are allowed to process. You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or reverse the hosting of the site, and you must not misrepresent your affiliation with the project or present the site as your own work.
Your content and intellectual property
Your images remain yours. PixelCrop claims no rights, license or ownership over any image you crop. Because all processing happens locally in your browser, images are never transmitted to, stored by or seen by PixelCrop — what you load stays on your device.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to process the images you load into the tool, and for how you use the files it produces.
PixelCrop intellectual property
The site's design, text, code and visual identity remain the property of the PixelCrop project. You are welcome to use the tool freely; copying or redistributing the site itself is not permitted without prior permission.
No warranties
The tool is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the tool will be error-free, that exports will meet your expectations or that the service will always be reachable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixelCrop and its operator are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits or damages arising from the use of — or inability to use — the tool or its outputs. Always keep your original files and verify an export before putting it to important use.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
